Gamete donation has been operating for 25 years in the field of human fertilization and embryology in Italy.

We have established center in London and are founder members of the swiss based group www.ifahealth.com. Associate IVF units, that specialise in heterologous fertilization (donation of oocytes and spermatozoa), are in Athens and Alicante. Our staff are fluent in English, Italian and German.
 
The Scientific and General Director of the group is Prof. Brian Dale, Ph.D., D.Sc., F.I.Biol., an internationally recognised authority in the field of fertilization and embryology. Our research team are currently engaged in studies on the metabolism of oocytes from women over 38 years of age, the use of IMSI for selecting spermatozoa, cryopreservation of oocytes and in vitro maturation of oocytes for endometriotic patients.
 
In addition to the fertility experts, we have a team of specialised psychologists and co-ordinators to help and guide couples through this often traumatic period of their lives. We are fully aware of how emotionally stressful IVF can be and consequently routinely assess the progress of each couple.
 
With over 3000 babies born in the last 10 years, gamete donation ranks amongst the best units in Europe. Most important to us is the knowledge that we have contributed to the joy and tranquility of 3000 expectant mothers.
